of establishing\u00a0<span style=\"color: #666666; font-family: Montserrat, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; text-align: center;\">a Peace Garden situated at the Wish Tower, Eastbourne in memory of the people killed and injured in the bombing raids on the town during the war of 1939-45 and in memory of the fortitude of residents during those years.<\/span><\/p><p>The centre piece of the Peace Garden is a\u00a0<span style=\"color: #666666; font-family: Montserrat, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0nine ton piece of glacial granite with a\u00a0 plaque bearing the names of the 180 civilians who lost their lives in bombing.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0
