Ocklynge Junior School

The trustees were delighted to be able to fund an educational trip for Ocklynge Junior School  pupils.

The school reported back
On Tuesday 28th June a group of budding artists from Ocklynge Junior School visited Berwick Church.  During the morning the children sketched the church from the church ground thinking about perspective, then  used charcoal as another medium.
We then went behind the church to look at the surrounding landscapes.  The children then used watercolours to paint the landscape.
At the end of the morning, the children went into the church and found out all about the beautiful paintings.
We would like to thank JJCT for funding the transport for the trip.
